Hana Al- Sayed studied 3-dimensional design at Manchester Met before moving back to London, where she worked in interior design, before embarking on her career in set design.
Inspired by a childhood landscape of arid desert lands and a rich tapestry of traditional crafts in '70s Middle East, she has gone on to use structural and domestic elements in every day life to create a cohesive visual language of texture and pared-down form.
Hana has worked with a wide range of clients including: British Vogue, Dazed and Confused, i-D and The New York Times. Hana's commercial clients include: Gucci, Hermès, Dior, Burberry, Paul Smith, Stella McCartney, COS, Cartier, Selfridges, John Lewis, and British Airways.
Hanna is also the Goods Editor of the acclaimed Hole and Corner magazine.
She has exhibited collaborative work both in the UK and New York.
