Tom Ordoyno is a self taught photographer from Nottingham.
His work conflates memory and present day reality. Capturing insights on human behaviour, gestures that have no record in time find a place in his portraiture. Finding beauty in domesticity and the banal, he examines new paradigms and discarded vernacular with the same vigour, through his allegorical approach to still life and landscape photography. Trips to the Alang Ship breaking Yard, and more recently, Palestine, have seen him expand on this approach.
Clients include Dazed & Confused, Re-Edition, Jil Sander, Young Turks and Arena Homme+.
